At left is from one of my sketchbooks (drawn about a month ago) of a steaming teapot. It an example of drawing until you come up with something to really work on.
I overdid the steam, but it was fun to see how I could manipulate the ink smudges that invariably build up on my pen. So, I think it started out as an accident.
Below is a drawing that I made way back in 2004 when I was living in Philadelphia and working in Old Town. It's the pediment of a local columned building. I didn't note which building. A sketch of the mercantile building is in the drawing section of this website.
